Methow Valley wedding venues
Lodges, ranches, riverside courtyards and a community barn, from Mazama down to Twisp.
Sun Mountain Lodge
A destination lodge on 1,500 acres above Winthrop. Outdoor settings include the Bluff (up to 300), the Upper Lawn for tented events, Patterson Lake and an outdoor deck; indoor options include the Pasayten Ballroom, Methow Room, the Lookout, Wine Cellar and Library. On-site rooms, dining and spa.
Freestone Inn
A historic ranch property at the base of the North Cascades. The Great Room and patio overlook the lake with Sandy Butte behind, and Jack's Hut (up to 75) works well for welcome parties. The inn posts an online availability calendar, and it notes that alcohol at events must be served by the inn.
Casia Lodge & Ranch
Multiple outdoor wedding sites on a 300-acre ranch with North Cascades views and plenty of places for photos. Tours by appointment.
Pipestone Canyon Ranch
Hay fields, rail-fenced lawns and Cascade views a few minutes from Twisp. Weekend packages include Friday setup and rehearsal time, Saturday event time and Sunday cleanup. Outdoor use is typically April through October; the indoor event building is available year-round.
Base Camp 49
Modern casitas, a grassy courtyard and covered pavilion along the Methow River, with on-site lodging for the wedding party. It books one wedding per week and partners with the Inn at Mazama for larger events.
Rolling Huts
A hut-style lodging property on State Route 20 near Winthrop. Wedding parties rent the whole place for exclusive use and are not required to use the property's vendors, though it shares recommendations.
Mazama Ranch House
A locally owned guest ranch next to the Methow Valley trail system, with a barn, adjacent meadows and a church for ceremonies.
The Winthrop Barn Auditorium
The valley's largest meeting and banquet facility, available year-round, with tables, chairs, a sound system and a kitchen and cold storage for caterers. A great fit for rehearsal dinners, welcome barbecues and winter receptions.

Questions we ask every venue
Catering & bar
Is catering in-house, or can you bring an outside caterer like Twisp River Catering? Who can serve alcohol, and is a permit needed?
Weather & smoke plan
Is there an indoor or tented backup for summer heat, storms or wildfire smoke? Any fire or open-flame rules?
Access & lodging
How do guests get there, where do they park, and how many can sleep on site or nearby?
Time on site
Setup and teardown windows, music cut-off time and whether the venue books one event per weekend.
Rentals included
Tables, chairs, linens, power and restrooms. Ranch venues may need tents, lighting or portable restrooms.
Season
Outdoor ranch spaces are often April to October only, and some venues pause weddings for a season. Ask early.
